For all non-urgent safeguarding issues please email our school safeguarding team on safeguarding@charterbermondsey.org.uk. This is monitored during school hours.

If you have an immediate safeguarding concern where a child is at risk of harm please contact the Police on 999.

If you have any concerns for Social Care please contact the Southwark MASH duty team on 020 7525 1921 or 020 7525 5000.  

We take any concerns and complaints about the school very seriously. Please follow our communications pathways to contact the right person regarding any concerns around your child's education. We hope that we are able to resolve your concerns in this way, however, if after following this process you  would like to raise a concern or have a specific complaint about any matter relating to the school please see our Complaints and Concerns policy which gives you full information on how to raise any such matters and what you can expect from the school in response.

The policy includes information and advice on raising a concern, the process that the school will follow in responding to concerns and complaints as well as an information form which can be used to provide the school with information that will help us to process the issue(s) raised.

Please contact the school on 0203 542 6506 before 8.00am to report a student’s absence from school.

Select the student absence line option and inform the school of your child’s name, tutor group, reason for absence and when you expect them to return to school. Please note that you must contact the school each day of absence.

You can also email attendance@charterbermondsey.org.uk with your child's name, tutor group and reason for absence.

Please note that absences due to a family trip or holiday during term time will not be authorised, please contact the school if there are extenuating circumstances.

Any student with a sickness absence of more than 4 days within a short period must provide a doctor's note.
