Mr Piper led an after-school training session for our new prefects, complete with a well-earned pizza treat!
Students explored the qualities of a great prefect and how leadership can mean putting kindness into action.
Max in Year 10 provided a brilliant example. When he saw a new student lost on their way to school, he stopped to help them find their way. Small actions can make a big difference and help everyone feel that they belong.
Kindness and integrity are essential ingredients in ensuring everyone belongs in our school community. Our prefects will not only be role models, but will also support our zero-tolerance approach to bullying as anti-bullying ambassadors.
All pupils can help us prevent bullying and beat bullying by speaking up and looking out for others; these are responsibilities we all share. You can:
- Talk to your Learning Family Tutor
- Talk to you Head of Year
- Talk to any adult
- Report via our Anonymous Reporting Form (coming soon).
Together, we can make sure everyone feels they belong.
