The Lady Mayor's Show 2025

Students from our school were treated to a truly unforgettable experience as they were invited to enjoy this year’s Lady Mayoress’s Show in the City of London.

Thanks to the generosity of two historic City institutions, pupils were able to witness the pageantry, tradition and excitement of one of London’s most iconic civic celebrations from two remarkable vantage points.

Ms Walkey-Williams accompanied a group of students to Pewterers’ Hall, where they were welcomed with a silver-service lunch before watching the vibrant procession. Students were captivated not only by the grandeur of the show, but also by the hospitality and elegance of one of the City’s oldest Livery Halls.

Meanwhile, Ms Selman led another group to an exceptional viewing spot on the balcony of Mansion House. This exclusive location offered students a rare opportunity to observe the parade from the official residence of the Lord Mayor of London—an experience very few people ever have.

One Year 9 student summed up the day perfectly:

“I couldn’t believe how close we were to everything. Seeing the parade from Mansion House felt like being part of something really special. It’s a day I’ll always remember.”

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Pewterers’ Hall and Mansion House for opening their doors to our students, and to the staff who made the day so enriching. Their generosity gave our pupils a unique insight into the City’s traditions and a memory they will carry with them for years to come.
