Curriculum Intent

Through this curriculum, students become digitally literate, equipped to express and develop their ideas for the future workplace and beyond. They learn to solve problems and use emerging technologies effectively, developing ICT skills that are transferable across subjects and applicable in real-world scenarios.

Key Stage 3

Computing is taught in one 55-minute lesson each week. Students explore fundamental computing concepts, develop coding skills and engage with a range of digital tools.

Key Stage 4

In KS4, Computing is taught in three 55-minute lessons per week in Year 10 and two in Year 11. Students deepen their understanding of advanced computing principles and prepare for formal assessments.
